The Galt House is a fabulous 25-story, 1300 room hotel located on the Ohio River in downtown Louisville, Kentucky. It is the official hotel of Churchill Downs and The Kentucky Derby.
In the past several years it has undergone a $60 million renovation to bring it up to world class condition. Accommodations include 600 executive suites and about 700 deluxe rooms. It is the largest hotel in Kentucky with 128,000 square feet of meeting space, two ballrooms, and an exhibit hall.
