The purchase of the combination allows you to sit in the same general area both days for the two racing events. For example, if you purchased a combo ticket in section 113-114, you would be seated in that area for the Oaks and the Derby. Some racing fans argue that the weekend of the worlds greatest thoroughbred racing is not complete unless you attend both events.

The Kentucky Derby is well documented. What some do not realize is that the Kentucky Oaks is the third most attended thoroughbred race in the United States, only beat by the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness, and greater than the Belmont Stakes and the Breeders Cup.
